Chestnut Funeral Home was established as Hughes and Chestnut Funeral Home in 1914 by Charles S. Chestnut Sr. and M. E. Hughes. Through the 1940's and 1950's Mr. Chestnut Sr. strategically co-founded numerous funeral homes throughout the state of Florida which he ultimately sold to partners as a means of empowering young funeral directors to own independent businesses.
Over its 90 year history, Chestnut Funeral Homes has trained more than 20 funeral directors and has always remained a supporter of the association. Four generations later, Chestnut Funeral Home remains independently owned and family operated. |
