Terron Carrington
Terron Carrington, Esq. is a “Double Gator” having received his undergraduate degree in 1994 and his law degree in 1998 from the University of Florida. Before joining the Chestnut Firm he spent ten years in private practice in the Tampa Bay area, where he litigated personal injury, civil rights and commercial cases in state and federal court.
Mr. Carrington has represented individuals in cases against big insurance companies, private corporations, law enforcement and jails, and city hall. He has worked on simple matters to complex pension fund litigation exceeding $220 million dollars. He has conducted numerous jury trials as well as appellate oral argument at both the state and federal levels. Mr. Carrington is admitted to all Florida courts, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of the Florida Justice Association and the Eight Judicial Circuit Bar Association and has taught civil procedure, sexual harassment, trial procedure and mock trials.
Mr. Carrington joined the Chestnut Firm’s Gainesville office in 2009 where he handles plaintiff’s personal injury and wrongful death cases exclusively. He continues to put his extensive experience to use in automobile injury, wrongful death and premises liability cases for the benefit of the firm’s clients and is committed to obtaining the maximum recovery for those wrongfully injured. Mr. Carrington lives in Gainesville with his wife and their two daughters where they are active in supporting ARC of Alachua County, local youth sports organizations and the Gainesville cycling community.
